South of the Everchanging Isles Minamo is an ancient land that has many entrances to the Feywild. Animals spirits and demigods roam the forests, mountains and plains and are often worshipped and given much respect by the populace. Minamo is in theory ruled by an emporer, but for years he has not made an appearance and has only made decrees by proxy. In his absence, feudal lords of the six provinces have risen to power and have engaged in a never ending game of battles, espionage, hostages and negotiations in an effort to bring the country under their rule. The feudal lords respect each other and are very formal and polite to each other, each understanding that they are alike. Even during peaceful times, Minamo is subject to border disputes, trade embargos, and assassination attempts. The populace is split between a working class, those who farm and trade, and a warrior class, those who fight and protect. While the warrior class is technically the ruling class they are not allowed to own land like the working class, and thus must rely on and maintain friendly relations with the working class.
